Get Involved > Recovery Crew

Being part of the Recovery Crew is a great way to be or stay involved if you're not racing. Crew are always needed (both on and off water) for Sweep Boat Crews in river races. At circuit races, volunteers are required for the Rescue Boat duties. To be eligible for the State Championships you must perform a task as an Official at some time during the year. Being part of a Recovery Crew is a great way to fulfil this requirement. Recent rule changes mean that you now accumulate Competition Licence points when performing Sweep Boat or Rescue Boat duties!
