PADDLES Extract from the Specifications 725            Paddles 726                 Paddles shall be carried in craft as follows: CRAFT RIVER RACE CIRCUIT RACE Power Dinghy Two None Solo Craft One None Formula 8/ Formula 10 Not Applicable None 727               The paddles shall be of a strong and safe construction. The blade shall be securely and safely attached to the shaft. No part of the paddle shall have sharp edges.  Hollow shafted soft plastic paddles are not allowed.  The blade surface area shall be 400 square centimetres (not including any portion of the shaft).  The shaft length shall be not less than 750mm measured from the top of the shaft to where the blade starts.
