The sunny side sprint is typically ran from winnejup falls downstream to Bridgetown.
Water depending means in high water we can start at sunny side oval (downstream of winnejup falls) and head upstream to winnejup falls, times are recorded and boats pulled from the water, once all boats are accounted for we restart in first in first leave order and then race down to Bridgetown.
Approximately 38km In reasonable water the race starts at winnejup falls and heads downstream to Bridgetown.
Approximately 27km In low low no water the race may need to be started from sunnyside oval.
Approximately 17km As with any boat race the water level will decide where we start and won’t be decided until closer to the race day.
