AVON DESCENT |

| The Avon Descent is our premier race of the year, held annually over the first weekend of August. Starting in Northam, it is a 133 kilometre, two day time trial to Bayswater with the overnight stop at Cobbler Pool, West Toodyay. It is organised by Northam's Avon Descent Association. Although participant numbers in the paddle classes exceed those in the power classes, power dinghies remain the premier attraction of the event. The PDRC's representative on NADA is Ian Williamson and the Power Boat Clerk of Course is Kim Epton. |
